Through Pilates, we can increase circulation while also improving posture, strengthening the core and creating longer, leaner muscles.

Pilates

Pilates prevent injury, build longer, leaner muscles, enhance ease of movement, and improve core strength, circulation and body awareness.  MINT offers two styles of Pilates, Stott Pilates and Mat Pilates.

STOTT PILATES are practiced on equipment developed by physical therapists, sports medicine and fitness professionals.  The platform for this style of Pilates is an apparatus that combines strength training and cardio, providing a full body workout.  Both MINT locations are the only studios in Washington, DC equipped with Stott Pilates reformer equipment.

MAT PILATES use the weight of your body for resistance and are performed on a floor mat.  Mat Pilates at MINT are offered in the MindBody Studio.
