Canaan
Canaan comes to MINT from North Carolina where she was successful personal trainer and wellness coach. Canaan enjoys working with a wide array of clients at all athletic levels, believing that many challenges can be over come by maintaining a healthier lifestyle. Canaan is passionate about finding new ways for her clients to stay active and she specializes in TRX training, core based training, injury prevention and rehabilitative exercise. She holds a B.S. in Athletic Training and an M.A. in Human Services as well as nationally recognized personal training certifications.
3 years ago Canaan worked with a client who was new to health and fitness, this client had struggled with weight since high school. After 6 months of training the client lost over 30 pounds of excess body fat, built lean muscle mass and lowered their blood pressure. To this day, her client experiences dramatically increased levels of energy and since the exercise has induced “feel good” hormones, she now lives a lower stress lifestyle at her goal weight.
