The Open House this weekend was a success! We previewed the new Pilates Jumpboard class (with rave reviews!) and had $10 chair massages in the lobby. There were lots of yummy snacks, like Uncle Chips Caramel Ginger Bars and a healthy, seasonal recipe from our own Amy LaFalce, Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist.
A great low-impact, muscle-lengthening and strengthening workout with a cardio blast, the new Pilates Circuit Training course at MINT is getting quite the buzz.
Dasha Ross, DC Workouts Examiner, stopped by our Pilates Open House a few weekends ago. You can read her review here.
Timea Presley, MINT Pilates Director, filled us in on the best part of the new Circuit Training. “With Pilates Circuit Training, you get to use the whole studio as your would in a private class, so you benefit from all the equipment. From improved posture to increased core strength and stability, Circuit Training will jump start your training.”
If you haven’t had your complimentary 1-on-1 pilates reformer session with Timea Presley, you’re missing out! After just two sessions on that reformer, this blogger has started feeling the effects! I kid you not, after years of secretly longing to trade my compact 5’4” frame for long legs and graceful arms, I feel somehow longer and leaner. I am so looking forward to my weekly sessions with Timea and will let you know how it goes.
If you’re looking for a way to jump into pilates, check out this Intro to Pilates class at MINT. It’s an 8-week course with no prerequisites, and it’s open to everyone-you don’t have to be a member at MINT. You’ll meet with Timea in MINT’s beautiful, sun-filled brand spanking new Pilates Studio. She’ll stretch you out, strengthen your muscles, and get you lean and mean for spring!
There are only a few spots left, so contact Timea today to reserve your space. tpresley@mintconditionyourself.com
