Yoga
Anusara (a-nu-sara-a) means “flowing with Grace,” “flowing with Nature” or “following your heart.” Founded by John Friend in 1997, Anusara yoga is known worldwide as a transformative, creative and innately joyful “look for the good” style of yoga. Anusara yoga is grounded in an elegant set of alignment principles (for safety, therapeutics and transformation), life-affirming philosophy (inspiring and honoring students for all they bring to the mat) and heart-oriented network of energetic instructors and students (energetic celebration).
MINT has a strong, vibrant team of instructors and subs trained in the Anusara Tradition. MINT anusara offerings include:
- Gentle Yoga

Vinyasa (flow) yoga is a flowing form of yoga that focuses on integrating breath and movement, awareness and alignment, strength and flexibility. Likened to a dynamic movement meditation, Vinyasa yoga is known for linking one posture to another, each postures connected through the breath for a transformative and balancing effect. While this flowing movement characterizes Vinyasa yoga as a whole, the style of individual classes may vary depending on the specific experiences and training of the instructor.
