Intense, inclusive, and inspirational. Those words describe Lindsay’s Power Playground classes and Lindsay herself.
Her fitness teaching journey began when a friend told her about instructor tryouts at University of Wisconsin RecSports. Once she made it past the first round of auditions, she practiced for hours with friends and roommates in her college house basement. She was accepted into a semester-long training program and never looked back.
Lindsay quickly found that teaching fitness was, in her words “a wonderful way to blend my interests in physiology and music into a social sphere, plus maintain a healthy outlet for my hyperactive tendencies. Additionally, I’ve met so many talented, creative, intellectual healers in the group fitness world, many of which I’m blessed to call my friends.”
At MINT, you can find her leading outdoor and live stream Power Playground classes with a wide range of challenges in just 50 minutes. Expect to practice speed, power, balance, strength, and agility as you find your own challenge in each exercise. Lindsay’s classes always include a killer playlist that follows the rise and fall tempo of class and is carefully crafted to inspire. Prior to the pandemic, Lindsay was promoted to MINT leadership. She is so grateful to work with a committed and talented team of instructors who have risen up to deliver fantastic live streaming and on-demand classes for MINT members amidst the chaos. She strongly believes that the MINT team has an influence on the future of group fitness, and she looks forward to what MINT will create for instructors and clients alike!
You can find Lindsay attending Kelly’s yoga class or Myke’s Power FLEX class at MINT, or at the November Project workouts at the Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday mornings. Her DC go-tos are vegan mac from Yes! Organic, luna cookies from Pleasant Pops, and Palak Paneer from Sacrificial Lamb.
